What we collect
Name, email address, and profile information you choose to provide (title, bio, location, specialisms, portfolio URL). Payment information processed by Stripe. We do not store card details. Usage data including pages visited and feature interactions.
How we use it
To operate your membership account, process payments, display your profile in the member directory if you opt in, send membership communications, and improve the platform.
Who we share it with
Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database), and Stripe (payments). We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@thevoltas.com.
Cookies
We only use cookies the site needs to work, so we do not ask for consent. Clerk, our sign-in provider, sets small cookies (such as __client_uat, and __session once you sign in) to keep you signed in, and keeps its settings in your browser's local storage. Cloudflare Turnstile runs a security check on the sign-up form, and Stripe sets its own cookies on checkout pages to prevent fraud. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; you will need to sign in again.
Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
